I read a post from an author whose name escapes me right now, but he was talking about your audience. He essentially taught me that, to write to them. Your subject matter can be anything, but you've got use a tone for your audience and knowing it was just as important. My teachers in school always made the audience seem less important, like you were suppose to write for everyone. I think I've gotten that idea wrong, now of course I need a new plan. I wish I had read that, before I entered my piece for the competition I entered...I could have helped me. I guess that is the learning curve.
I think that perhaps in my case with my character, I've jumped across the map, as far as he goes...I've said that before...now I need to look closer at him, and make him act his age...not older...that is definately going to be tough, but it sure will make for a good challange, I look forward to it. Which I guess you can tell, I'm not going to change him to an older age...I'm just going to de-age (is that a word??) in certain parts.
One thing is for sure, I am a long way off on being done.
All for now....Later
Sounds like a plan. It is a challenge to make a book flow well, but you will get there. Keep on!
