Writing Competion

So, Tonight I decided to enter a writing competition.  The premise of the competition is to write a short story, 1500 words or less.   So I did it, the first draft is done. I guess I'll have to ensure I make time to edit it.  Or I could look back at some other things I have and make them better. 

This is the first time, I've ever written one of these.  Well I did some in my school days, over 11 years ago.  I never took those seriously and I always wrote about politics.  My teachers never really took me seriously, mostly because they were liberals, and I wrote about stuff that was very conservative.  I wonder, if I had taken them seriously back then and not poked fun at liberalism if my teachers wouldn't have liked my stuff more?

I guess I'll never, know, I don't really care that much either, because I enjoyed it.  I knew their beliefs and this was a good way for me to make fun of them right to their faces. If they were insulted by it, they couldn't do anything about it.

Well, I digress, yet again...well I have until 1 Dec to get my piece ready to go. I hope to have it done by 15 November.  I don't think I'll take any hiatus on my book, I'll just do more of what I talked about before, setting time for new works, while keeping time to edit a current project.
