Editing

Wow, I hate editing, I just don't like it. If I go all liberal and "shrink" myself I could come up with hundreds physcological reasons why I hate it, but all of that is pure nonesense.  I hate it because I do, I don't need a reason, I just hate it.  Its like going to work, somedays I just hate it.  Not because of any reason, I just do.  However, when I do decided to sit down and do it, it brings great rewards, which is a good motivator for doing it.  I guess I liken it to football practice, the games are great fun, but the better you practice the better your product on the field is.

Yesterday, I didn't get much editing done. I wanted to edit a particular Ralphie story, I never really found an apportunity to do it. Try as I might, I often found there was yet something else that took more importance over editing. Well, I'm glad I did those other things, they needed to be done. One sometimes has to put off the work he wants to do to accomplish the work he needs to do.

So I put off editing the story I wanted to do, so I could fill other needs in the house.  In all of this, I remebered that I do have two or three edited stories, one of them is really good.  Maybe it wasn't exactly what I want, but now I can work on my book, and still get my story on the site.
